It is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect and use the personal information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our site and our credit repair services.

We cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet.

All of your information, if any, is stored on secure servers with the industry standard SSL certificate to encrypt your data and protect it. Email correspondence that goes back and forth from us to you is not secure unless both parties have a security certificate when they send the email. Our company does not transmit emails with a security certificate since our business model does not transmit sensitive information through email.

If you email us sensitive information, you are sending it at your own risk.

We encourage our clients to transmit sensitive information by uploading it through our secured portal.

What Information Do We Collect?

When you visit our Website, you may provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis, and Website use information collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our Web site.

1. Personal Information You Provide

A. Requesting a Credit Review

When you request a Credit Review, you are required to provide us with your first and last name, email address, phone number and your state of residence. We will then communicate with you by phone, SMS text or by email and this communication will continue when you become a client. At any time, you may cease communications by Opting Out.

B. Email Information.

If you choose to correspond with us through email or text, we retain the content of your email messages or text together with our responses.

C. IF you decide to enroll into our Credit Repair Program

If you decide to enroll into our credit repair program, you will be required to provide the following information in order for us to communicate with the credit reporting agencies (on your behalf):

  • Legal Name
  • Address
  • City, State, Zip
  • Social Security Number
  • Date of Birth

You will also be required to provide the following information for Auto-Payment Authorization:

  • Bank Name
  • Name on Account
  • 9 Digit Routing Number
  • Account Number

D. Storage

Your information is stored and secured in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

E. Privacy & Confidentiality: 

– Credit Expert will not sell or disseminate any of your information to a third party (such as a mortgage lender, etc), unless you have granted us authorization to do so.  You also understand that due to confidentiality and security reasons, Credit Expert will shred all documents that you forward to Credit Expert once our process is complete.  It is your responsibility to retain copies of any paperwork that you may need to be referenced at a later date.  Any original legal court document(s) or collection notice(s) SHOULD NOT be forwarded to Credit Expert; only copies of such documents that will support your claim in repairing your credit (proof of payment, court dismissal documents, etc.).

– When contacting Credit Expert by phone, we will ask you to provide your date of birth or the last 4 digits of your Social Security # to verify that you are the person on the account

– When contacting by email, if the email address is different that what is on the account, we will ask that you verify by providing your date of birth or the last 4 digits of Social Security #.

F. Inactive Client Accounts

Information such as SSN, DOB and Banking information is deleted from our system once an account becomes 6 months inactive.   

2. Web Site Use Information

Similar to other commercial Web sites, our Website utilizes a standard technology called “cookies” (see explanation below, “What Are Cookies?”) and Web server logs to collect information about how our Web site is used. Information gathered through cookies and Web server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our Website, and the Websites visited just before and just after our Website. We, our advertisers and ad serving companies may also use small pieces of code called “web beacons” or “clear gifs” to determine which advertisements and promotions users have seen and how users responded to them.

How Do We Use the Information That You Provide to Us?

We use the personal information you provide to work with the credit reporting agencies on your behalf. We may also use the information to notify you about important changes to our Website, new services, credit education and special offers we think you will find valuable.
